Spinal Flow

The spinal flow technique is a powerful modality that facilitates rebalancing of the body and its function without manually adjusting the spine or body. It consists of light touches on specific points of the body that consist of dura mater, a membrane that protects the brain and spinal cord. Spinal flow is cutting-edge science and healing arts.

The technique was founded by Dr. Carly Oxford, who studied over 50 modalities, including network spinal analysis, applied kinesiology, talk release technique, emotional freedom technique, and bio-geometric integration.

Spinal flow was created based on the seven gateways of the spine and 33 access points which facilitate repair regeneration and recovery via the nervous system.

Spinal flow has helped with recovery from chronic pain, fibromyalgia, scoliosis, anxiety, low energy, migraines, infertility, digestive issues, mental and emotional stress, sleep issues, and much more. We also see improvements in hyperactivity, ADHD, and autism symptoms. Spinal flow identifies and releases layers of physical, chemical, and emotional tension, affecting ease in the body.

It also uncovers stored trauma that has been in the body for a long time, causing blockages. Spinal flow helps reveal this hidden trauma residing in the spine or the nervous system, finding it, allowing us to feel it and discard it so that it does not continue to block them in life.

In addition, spinal flow facilitates the rebalancing of the nervous system by restoring our parasympathetic nervous system, which activates our ability to heal and regenerate a balanced physical health through supporting healthy brain function, mood, and emotional stability, and enhances minimizing pain and calming inflammation, digestion, detoxification, and immune function.

When our parasympathetic nervous system is activated, our body goes into rest, digest, heal state, routing our blood flow to our organs of digestion and detoxification, slowing our heart rate, and normalizing our breathing, releasing stress that has been stored in our body and our ability to heal and regenerate is reactivated.

Benefits of spinal flow:

  1. Calms the nervous system, relieving anxiety and promoting relaxation.

  2. Improves immune function in your resilience towards illness and stress.

  3. Improves focus and mental clarity.

  4. Reduces stiffness and work, school, family, etc.

  5. Regulates breathing and pain.

  6. Reduces muscle spasm.

  7. Increases nutrient flow and improves oxygenation to the brain and body.

  8. Encourages tissue regeneration in our brain and body.

  9. Improves digestive function.

As a result of exploring spinal flow, people experience a spinal flow healing wave where every cell of the body feels connected and free.

Spinal flow is a fully approved technique and fully accredited by the International Institute of Complementary Therapists.

The initial appointment includes discussion of your health history and comprehensive assessments and identifies blockages. Followed by spinal flow treatment, where I will lightly touch areas of openness in the body and spine, called the dural access points.

The Spinal Flow follow up sessions should only be booked once you have had the initial assessment and treatment session.

With each treatment more stress is releases from the body, blockages in the spine decrease and your body's own innate wisdom and life force energy strengthens, creating more and more ease and less dis-ease. This brings you back to a state of all round wellbeing. Typical session lasts about 30 minutes.
